We rode down the street on our bikes through the warm Houston days, and we ended up at the shopping center, looking for something to do. The city was different then; simpler. You could smell the salty Gulf in the distance, through the shade of the trees. We spent our time playing, never caring, coming home at dusk to the calls from our parents. Dinner was at the table, or around the corner at the restaurant—southern, Gulf Coast, Latin, Asian, American, we didn’t care. It tasted good. It filled us and made us strong, so we might one day fulfill our dreams.
The one and only Easter Bunny will be at State of Grace (for brunch only) greeting families & children and posing for pictures on Sunday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Regular Sunday Supper will follow starting at 5 p.m. Reservations are encouraged and can be made here or by calling the restaurant at 832-942-5080.
Sunday evenings are for Sunday Supper at State of Grace. From Butter Biscuits & Dewberry Jam to Fried Chicken, Chicken Fried Steak and ‘Crock Pot’ Macaroni & Cheese, Chef Bobby Matos keeps the good coming with family style, communal dining reminiscent of small town cafes in Texas. Preview menu. Sundays after 5pm our Sunday Supper and Oyster menus will be the ONLY menus available. Starters and sides will be served family style with each guest receiving his or her own entrée (vegetarian option available.) $29 per person for Sunday Supper. Oyster menu offerings ordered a la carte.

State of Grace is pleased to offer, for your enjoyment, a selection of $1 oysters from 11am-6pm in the Oyster Bar, Monday – Friday.
